Michelle A. Jones

Michelle A. Jones focuses her practice in the area of family law – handling custody, divorce, support and abuse cases in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. She enjoys helping individuals understand the issues involved in their cases and how the decisions they make will affect their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Attorney Jones believes that it is important to take the extra time to listen to the individual’s story in order to gather relevant information, identify concerns and goals and place the individual at ease. Although family law is her focus, she also prepares wills, living wills and powers of attorney and handles social security disability and supplemental security income claims.

Attorney Jones graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1994 and received her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1998. While at Widener University School of Law, she took family practice, pre-trial and trial courses and participated in the Trial Advocacy Honor Society. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts. Besides being a member of the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association, Attorney Jones is also a member of the Schuylkill County Bar Association and Schuylkill County Women’s Law Caucus, both of which raise funds annually for people in need in the local area.
